We are seeking a dedicated and motivated technician assistant to join our team at The Polish Nail Lounge. As a technician assistant, you will provide support to our technicians and contribute to the smooth operation of our beauty salon. Your assistance and attention to detail will help ensure a seamless experience for our clients and maintain the cleanliness and organization of our salon.
Responsibilities:
Assist technicians in preparing treatment areas for client services, ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and properly equipped with necessary supplies and tools.
Greet and welcome clients, offering them beverages and making them feel comfortable while they wait for their appointments.
Escort clients to treatment areas, ensuring a smooth transition between different service stations within the salon.
Prepare clients for treatments by providing appropriate garments, removing nail polish, or performing other necessary preparations.
Clean and sterilize tools and equipment, ensuring they are properly sanitized and ready for use by technicians.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the salon, including treatment areas, waiting areas, and common spaces.
Assist with laundry tasks, including washing and folding towels and linens, and ensuring an adequate supply of clean towels is available.
Stock and replenish supplies as needed, including nail polish, disposables, and other products used by technicians.
Provide exceptional customer service, attending to client inquiries and requests, and ensuring their overall satisfaction with their salon experience.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a salon assistant, spa assistant, or similar role is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are needed to maintain cleanliness and order in the salon.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Basic knowledge of salon services, procedures, and terminology is a plus.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support the salon’s operational hours.
Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Knowledge of basic sanitation and sterilization practices in a salon setting
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and carrying.
