About Brielle’s Shells
Hi, I’m Brielle- the owner of Brielle’s Shells! I’m the inventor of the Mermaid Extension, which is a unique coastal hair accessory that we create in a variety of sizes and styles. We sell 2 versions, clip-on ones and semi-permanent ones that are crimped to the hair with an extension bead, we sell our products online and to stores around the county, and we also have our own retail shop on Long Beach Island, NJ. At the shop, we sell our Mermaid Extensions as well as other coastal products from small businesses. Our products draw in customers of all ages from toddlers to grandmas, and most of our customers come in to experience our hair extensions. We are looking to hire hir extensions stylists from how through Labor Day Weekend!
Job Description:
- You will be responsible for:
- Welcome customers into the shop and answer any questions they have.
- Our shop is more of a service/ experience than just a retail store. This means you will be socially interacting with customers and bringing a magical experience to younger children.
- Attaching our Mermaid Extensions to customers’ hair (both the clip-on and semi-permanent extensions).
- Ringing up customers at the checkout counter.
- We will be open from 10am-5am and there will likely be 1 person working per shift, depending on everyone’s schedule.
Qualifications Needed:
- Trained in attaching crimp-bead style hair extensions for human hair, fake/ colored hair, feathers, or tinsel.
- A friendly and bubble personality- comfortable making conversation with both children and adults and creating a magical experience for children.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and working with calm precision even when there is a line of customers waiting.
