Enter Fashion Week
Rizzieri owner Frank Rizzieri is also a celebrity stylist and long-time Fashion Week hairdresser, where he has collaborated with fashion designers, top hair care brands, other stylists, makeup artists, and nail technicians.
Because of his involvement and participation, students are able to accompany Frank to Fashion week each year as part of his team, where they get the full Fashion Week experience.

“Working a fashion show can be intense,” Frank says. “There’s not much room for error when you only have two to three hours to get 25-40 models down the runway.”
To give them a taste of the runway life, every fall and spring, Rizzieri students are chosen (by academics and attendance) to attend Fashion Week with Frank. Students get to go behind the scenes, reviewing hair looks and working on models’ hair for the live shows.
The fast-paced, collaborative environment gives students a chance to see another side of the beauty biz and work on a team of seasoned professionals.
“I believe that part of what makes someone successful in life is how they have helped others grow and develop,” says Frank. “I have always enjoyed mentoring and coaching others and seeing them reach their potential. It brings me great satisfaction to see someone I have helped succeed in their career or personal life.”

The Rizzieri Advantage
Rizzieri cosmetology students interested in fashion also have the unique advantage of having an editorial styling chapter in their curriculum. This piece of curriculum was developed by Frank, who is an editorial stylist and created a line of R-Session Editorial styling tools along with his business partner, Kevin.
The editorial styling chapter helps improve upon styling skills, collaboration and get students used to working in a fast-paced environment.
