A Family Legacy Rooted in Education
The story begins in 1924, when Franco Cipriotti, an enterprising immigrant from Italy, established a barber school and shop in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Four years later, the vision expanded, evolving into “Maison De Paris,” a full-fledged cosmetology school in Camden, NJ. This marked the foundation of what would become Rizzieri Aveda School.
The Cipriotti family’s commitment to beauty education continued through generations. Franco’s daughter, Anna, and her husband, Sal Rizzieri, took the helm in 1975. Their son, Frank, a highly acclaimed editorial stylist, joined the team, and together they relocated the school to Haddonfield, New Jersey.
The Rizzieri family’s vision for a comprehensive learning environment led to further expansion. In 1995, they established a state-of-the-art facility in Marlton, NJ, incorporating a school, salon, day spa, and store under one roof. Finally, in 2009, the school found its current home in Voorhees, NJ, once again offering a cutting-edge space for beauty education.
